Norton Lodge Wedding | Ruth & Alex

Norton Lodge Wedding

Crisp winter days are often my favourite days. The day didn't quite start like that though a few spots of rain as we approached the church didn't give us a hint of the downpour that was about to occur. Fortunately, everyone was safe and dry inside the church during it....well almost. Something unique happens at every wedding which is what makes the day special and anecdotal but this has to be the first time for me that the church has started to leak. It didn't last too long though and the service carried on. We were then to be greeted on exit by some extremely strong winds. It just goes to show that you don't have to have perfect weather to have a perfect wedding. Of course Mr Sunshine was happy to put his hat on for some nice portrait photos at a local stream.

Both Ruth and Alex are really close to their families and love animals, I'm sure given the option Byron their huge Newfoundland would have been wearing a suit and walking them down the aisle.

A small and perfectly formed wedding
